Make a Gift in Honor or in Memory
Lenore Travis Memorial Fund
The Lenore Travis Memorial Fund was established in 2015 to honor the legacy of our dear friend and former board member, Lenore Travis. The fund supports our annual Lenore Travis Youth Retreat, which brings together youth from across our two regions for an intensive weekend of learning, team bonding, and personal growth. We continue to accept donations to the fund and welcome your contribution to honor Lenore’s memory by supporting the inspiring youth leaders she cared so deeply about. The Big Shindig
There are many opportunities to give through our annual Big Shindig! This event brings together over 300 supporters of The Food Project each spring and raises $350,000 for youth leaders and food justice. You can support the event through a sponsorship (individual or corporate), purchasing online raffle tickets, donating items for our raffle or live auction, or purchasing a ticket to attend. Save the date for May 7, 2020 at the Boston Center for the Arts!
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss opportunities.
Do you know you can double or even triple your donation? Contact your company’s human resources department to learn about matching gift options. Companies have various methods by which you can submit your matching gift request — online forms, automated phone systems, or a paper form that you fill out and submit to The Food Project. We then complete the form and submit it to your employer.
There are many ways your business or company can get involved with The Food Project! Through Serve & Grow, volunteer groups experience hands-on farm work while bonding as teams and learning how to improve the food system. Corporate groups who support our work—through direct giving, events, and sponsorships—enjoy publicity, employee engagement, Lunch & Learn presentations, and more. Please contact Anne Hayes at (781) 259-8621 ext. 19 or email@example.com to discuss opportunities.
