Lenore Travis Memorial Fund
The Lenore Travis Memorial Fund was established in 2015 to honor the legacy of our dear friend and former board member, Lenore Travis. The fund supports our annual Lenore Travis Youth Retreat, which brings together youth from across our two regions for an intensive weekend of learning, team bonding, and personal growth. Thanks to hundreds of generous donations from Lenore’s friends and family, the retreat is we are thrilled to offer this transformative experience to many young people for generations to come.
We continue to accept donations to the fund and welcome your contribution to honor Lenore’s memory by supporting the inspiring youth leaders she cared so deeply about. Click here to learn more or donate securely online.
Matching Gifts
Did you know you can double or triple your donation through your company’s matching gift program? Contact your company’s human resources department to learn about matching gift options. Companies have various methods by which you can submit your matching gift request — online forms, automated phone systems, or a paper form that you fill out and submit to The Food Project. We then complete the form and submit it to your employer.
Corporate Giving
There are many ways your business or company can get involved with The Food Project! Through Serve & Grow, volunteer groups experience hands-on farm work while bonding as teams and learning how to improve the food system. Corporate groups who support our work—through direct giving, events, and sponsorships—enjoy publicity, employee engagement, Lunch & Learn presentations, and more. Please contact the Director of Institutional Relations Alexandra Nicolas, at volunteer@thefoodproject.org to discuss opportunities.
