WORK FOR SHARE

Interested in spending time working on the The Food Project’s farms and reaping the fruits of your labor? Apply for The Food Project’s Work For Share program on the North Shore.  

Wenham Work For Share 
Wenham Work For Share participants work on  our Reynolds Farm in Wenham for a ten week session in either the spring (from April to June), or the fall (from August to October).

We are currently seeking participants for our 2020 Spring Work For Share on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9:00 a.m – 12 p.m., from April 21st through June 25th. In exchange for time spent weeding, harvesting, and various other farm tasks, each member will receive a five-week CSA box share. For more information, email nsworkforshare@thefoodproject.org. 

Lynn Work For Share
Lynn Work For Share participants work on the Ingalls School farm in Lynn in either the spring (from April to June), or the fall (from August to October).

This spring, Work for Share sessions take place over 12 weeks (April 14 – July 2nd), on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Participants will receive farmers’ market credit in exchange for their work. For more information, email nsworkforshare@thefoodproject.org. 

Requirements: 

  • Ages 18+
  • Able/willing to do physical work for three hours at a time in variable weather conditions 
  • Commit to showing up every day that you apply for (one absence allowed) 
  • Dependable and open to learning
