There are many ways to get involved with The Food Project. Join us today!

Join our Mailing List

Receive updates about happenings, special events, and programs at The Food Project.

Volunteer at Our Farms

Join us on the land for a season of learning, farming, and service. Volunteers experience a day on the farm, harvest food for the hungry, and learn about sustainable agriculture. The Food Project is also a great place to bring your office or community group to learn and serve together.

Your donations will support our youth, community, and sustainable agriculture programs in building a diverse community of youth and adults who work together to build a more sustainable food system.

Other ways to give

Shop and give back with just a click! When you use this link while shopping on AmazonSmile, a percentage of your purchases will be donated to The Food Project.

Buy Our Food

Visit one of our farmers' markets in Roxbury or Lynn to sample some of the fresh produce grown on our farms in those communities. Or, become a member of our community supported agriculture (CSA). CSA members pay at the beginning of the season to receive a share of fresh produce for their families each week. We have on-farm shares available in Lincoln, Lynn, and Beverly, Mass., and box share deliveries to various locations in Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville.

Work for Share

Consider participating in our Work for Share program on the North Shore and earn a share of fresh produce for your work. Find information about Work for Share in Lynn for help on our Ingalls Farm here. Find information about Work for Share in Beverly and Wenham for help on our farms here. Email [email protected] if you have questions or apply online.

Apply for Our Summer Seed Crew

Are you between 14 and 17 years old? Young people in our Seed Crews spend seven weeks working together to grow and distribute thousands of pounds of vegetables and develop skills in leadership, teamwork, and social justice.

Attend an Event

Check our events page to stay updated with upcoming events and workshops at The Food Project.

Attend Our Institute

Attend one of our dynamic, in-depth three-day Institutes to learn, grow, and connect with your peers from around the world. The Institute will teach you about The Food Project's youth development models, sustainable agriculture, social justice, food justice, and work.

Join Our Board of Trustees

The Food Project is always looking for talented people to join our Board of Trustees. In particular, individuals with finance, fundraising, legal, communications/media, social enterprise, or agricultural background/experience are sought.
