The Food Project’s offices, farms, and farmers’ markets are spread across three areas in eastern Massachusetts. Click on the boxes below for directions.

Directions to offices: 

Boston

555 Dudley Street in Dorchester, MA

By Car from the North or South of Boston: Take Route 93/Fitzgerald Expressway to Exit 18 (Mass. Ave./Roxbury). At the bottom of the ramp, turn right and continue to stop light. Take a left onto Mass. Ave. Refer to ‘from Mass. Ave’ directions below.

By Car from Mass Ave: Follow Mass. Ave. south (past a McDonalds) until you see a UHAUL Center on your right. Just after the center, take a right onto Magazine Street. Continue straight at your first stop light. At the second light, take a left onto Dudley Street (at the intersection of Magazine Street, Dudley Street and Blue Hill Avenue). Take a left onto Dudley Street, and drive for about 5 blocks. The office is located on the right side at 555 Dudley Street.

By Public Transportation: Get to the Ruggles T Station located on the Orange line. At the station, head for the bus area and take the #15 bus down Dudley Street. Stay on the bus as it stops off briefly to pick passengers at the Dudley Square bus depot. (It will get back onto Dudley Street.) Once past the Dudley Town Common, there are three stops to go. Pass a large schoolyard on your left and through a business area to the intersection of Dudley and West Cottage Street. Get off at the intersection of Dudley and West Cottage. Our office is on the right side of the street on the corner of Dudley and West Cottage Street, at 555 Dudley Street.

Lincoln

10 Lewis Street in Lincoln, MA

Please note that these are directions to our Lincoln Office only. If you are volunteering or visiting our Baker Bridge farm in Lincoln, please find the farm directions below. 

By Public Transportation
From either North Station or Porter Square, take the Commuter Rail (Fitchburg line) to Lincoln Station. From the train stop, walk towards Lincoln Road. Turn right on Lincoln Road and cross the train tracks. You will be walking towards a gas station. Take the first right onto Lewis Street. The office is on the left.

By Car From Route 2
At the intersection of Route 2 and Bedford Road in Lincoln, head south down Bedford Road.

(Note: If you are driving west from the Arlington/Cambridge/Boston direction, you can not make a left onto Bedford Road. Please follow signs at the light. The signs will direct you to take your second right, which will loop you around so that you cross Route 2 and drive onto Bedford Road. This is easier than it sounds.)

After one mile on Bedford Road, you will arrive at a stop sign. Go straight at the stop sign and drive for another 1.5 miles. Cross the Lincoln train tracks. Lewis Street is located about 50 yards past the tracks. Take a left onto Lewis Street. The office is on the left.

From the Mass. Pike or 95/128
Take Exit 15 Mass Pike to Weston/Waltham and go North on 95/128.

Take Exit 26 to Waltham/Weston. At the exit, head east towards Waltham.

Immediately after the first traffic light, take a left onto Stow Street,
following signs for Route 117/Stow.

Turn left at Main Street/Rt. 117 heading west.

Rt. 117 will wind for about 4 miles through Weston to Lincoln. After
crossing the railroad tracks, passing the Blue Heron Organic Farm on right,
start looking for a ‘Y’ in the road. Take the right at this ‘Y’ onto Codman
Road and continue until the stop sign. The Lincoln Police Station will be
across the street on your left.

Take a right at this stop sign onto Lincoln Road.

After only one block, turn right on Lewis Street. The office is on the left.

Lynn

120 Munroe Street in Lynn, MA

By Car from 128 South:
Take exit 28 towards Centennial Drive. Follow Centennial Drive to the end. Turn right onto Summit. Follow Summit to the end and turn right onto Lynn Street.

Continue on Lynn Street for approximately 2 miles through Peabody. This road turns into Broadway once you cross into Lynn.

Take a left onto Euclid Ave. Follow Euclid for approximately 2 miles. Euclid becomes Maple Street. Continue on Maple St. until it intersects with Western Ave (Route 107).

Follow Route 107 for about a mile. Turn left on Washington Street. The office is located near the intersection of Washington Street and Munroe Street, diagonally across from “Tacos Lupita”. There is a large green sign above our office door.

By Car from 1A South:
Follow Route 1A south towards Swampscott/Lynn. Route 1A becomes Lewis Street and then Broad Street. Continue on Broad Street/1A until you reach the Commuter Rail/Bus Station.

Turn Right onto Market Street. Take your first right onto Munroe Street. The office is on the left side at the intersection of Washington Street and Munroe Street.

By Car from 128 North:
Take exit 44B towards Danvers. Enter the Lynn Rotary and take the first exit (Route 129 to Lynn). Follow Route 129 for approximately 2.5 miles. Follow signs for downtown Lynn.

Route 129 becomes Boston Street. Turn left onto Washington Street. The office is located at the intersection of Washington Street and Munroe Street, diagonally across from “Tacos Lupita”. There is a large green sign above our office door.

By Car from 1A North:
Take 1A North (Lee Burbank Highway, Lynnway) through Revere into Lynn.

Follow signs for “Downtown Lynn” and turn left onto Market Street. Follow Market Street about 2 blocks, and turn right onto Munroe Street.

Our office is located at the intersection with Washington Street, diagonally across from “Tacos Lupita”. There is a large green sign above our office door.

By Public Transportation:
Travel on the Newburyport/Rockport Commuter Rail line to Lynn/Central Square Station. Exit the station and turn to the right towards Munroe Street. Turn right on Munroe Street. The office is on the left side at the corner of Munroe Street & Washington Street.

Boston: West Cottage Farm

By Car from the North or South of Boston:

By Car from Mass Ave:

Follow Mass. Ave. South (past a McDonalds) until you see a UHAUL Center on your right. Just after the center, take a right onto Magazine Street. Continue straight at your first stop light. At the second light, turn left onto Dudley Street (at the intersection of Magazine Street, Dudley Street and Blue Hill Avenue). After turning left onto Dudley Street, drive for about 5 blocks. West Cottage Street will be on your right (at a traffic light). After right onto West Cottage, drive for one block.

By Public Transportation:

Get to the Ruggles T Station located on the Orange line. At the station, head for the bus area and take the #15 or the #45 bus. Stay on the bus as it stops off briefly to pick passengers at the Roxbury Crossing bus depot and Dudley Square.

If you’re on the #15, once you pass the intersection of Dudley Street and Blue Hill Ave, there are 3 stops to go. Get off at the intersection of Dudley and West Cottage. Walk down West Cottage Street one block to Brook Avenue. The West Cottage Lot will be on the left side.

If you’re on the #45,  once you pass the intersection of Dudley Street and Blue Hill Ave, there are 4 stops to go. Get off at the intersection of Blue Hill Ave and Irwin Street. Walk one block in the direction that the bus was going toward West Cottage Street. Take a left on West Cottage Street and walk 3 blocks till you get to Brook Ave. The West Cottage Lot will be on the right side.

Boston: Langdon Street Farm

By Car from the North or South of Boston:

Take Route 93/Fitzgerald Expressway to Exit 18 (Mass. Ave./Roxbury). At the bottom of the ramp, turn right and continue to stop light. Take a left onto Mass. Ave. Refer to ‘from Mass. Ave’ directions below.

By Car from Mass Ave:

If you’re on the #45,  get off at the intersection of Blue Hill Ave and Mt. Pleasant Ave. Cross Blue Hill Ave to Dudley Town Common. Cross the Common and turn right onto Dudley Street. Walk three blocks and take a left on Langdon Street. Walk one block and the farm will be on the right side.

Boston: Dudley Greenhouse

11 Brook Avenue in Roxbury, MA

By Car from the North or South of Boston:

Take Route 93/Fitzgerald Expressway to Exit 18 (Mass. Ave./Roxbury). At the bottom of the ramp, turn right and continue to stop light. Take a left onto Mass. Ave. Refer to ‘from Mass. Ave’ directions below.

By Car from Mass Ave:

Follow Mass. Ave. South (past a McDonalds) until you see a UHAUL Center on your right. Just after the center, take a right onto Magazine Street. Continue straight at your first stop light. At the second light, turn left onto Dudley Street (at the intersection of Magazine Street, Dudley Street and Blue Hill Avenue). After turning left onto Dudley Street, drive for about three blocks. Turn right on Brook Ave. The greenhouse will be on the right. 

By Public Transportation:

Get to the Ruggles T Station located on the Orange line. At the station, head for the bus area and take the #15 or the #45 bus. Stay on the bus as it stops off briefly to pick passengers at the Roxbury Crossing bus depot and Dudley Square.
If you’re on the #15, once you pass the intersection of Dudley Street and Blue Hill Ave, there are 2 stops to go. Get off at the intersection of Dudley and Shirley St. Turn right on Brook Ave and the greenhouse will be on the right side.

If you’re on the #45,  get off at the intersection of Blue Hill Ave and Winthrop Street (one stop after the intersection of Dudley Street and Blue Hill Ave). Cross the street and walk two blocks down Winthrop Street. Turn left on Brook Ave. Walk one and a half blocks and the greenhouse will be on the left side.

Lincoln: Baker Bridge

94 Concord Road, Intersection of Rt 126 and Baker Bridge Road in Lincoln, MA.

By Car From Route 2

At the intersection of Route 2 and Route 126, head south (left if driving from Boston, and right if driving from the west) on 126 toward Walden Pond.

You’ll pass Walden Pond on your right. About 1 mile after that, you’ll pass Baker Bridge Road on the left.

About 100 feet after passing Baker Bridge Road there will be a dirt road on your left, marked with a Food Project sign; take this left.  You can park on the side of this road, and there’s also a small parking area on the right immediately after the entrance that you can use. 

By Public Transportation:

Take the Commuter Rail (Fitchburg line) to Lincoln Station. From the train stop, walk towards Lincoln Road. Pass a gas station on your right. After the gas station, take a right on Codman Road. Pass Codman Farm on your left. At the next intersection, turn right on Concord Road (Route 126). Continue about 3/4 mile on Concord Road and the farm is on the right. 

Lynn: Ingalls School Farm

1 Collins Street Terrace in Lynn, MA 

By Foot from Public Transportation:

Take the Commuter Rail (Newburyport/Rockport line) to Lynn/Central Square Station. (You can also take the 441 or 445 bus from Wonderland Station (blue line) to downtown Lynn.) 

Exit the station onto Union Street. Follow Union Street northeast (away from Broad Street.)  After 1/2 mile turn left on Chestnut Street and take the first slight right onto Mason Street. After one block, turn left on Fayette Street. Pass 7-Eleven on the left and cross through a large intersection (Essex Street). Turn right on Fayette Court.

Ingalls Elementary School is straight ahead on Collins Street Terrace. Enter the parking lot and the farm is on the left.

By Car from Points South/Boston:

Take I-93 North to Route 1 North (follow signs for the Tobin Bridge). Continue on Route 1 North to Route 16 East toward Revere/Lynn.

Follow Route 16 East to a rotary (intersection with Route 60). Continue around rotary and out onto Route 1A North. Pass the Wonderland T station, continue through Revere and into Lynn. Follow signs for ‘Downtown Lynn’.

Turn left onto Market Street (following signs for the Commuter Rail). Take an immediate right onto Broad Street. Continue north on Broad Street (Route 1A North) to Lafayette Park. Turn left onto Lafayette Park, continue around “Goldfish Pond”, and remain on Lafayette Park. Continue straight, and the road becomes Fayette Street. 

Turn right onto Fayette Court.  The Ingalls School will be directly in front of you. Turn left and then right to get to the driveway and the field. Proceed beyond the “Do Not Enter” sign to park in the back parking lot.

By Car from Points West – Route 128 North: 

Take exit 44B for Route 129 East towards Lynn/Swampscott. At the rotary, continue following signs for 129 East to Lynn/Swampscott. Stay on Route 129 for approximately 2 miles. At the fork in the road, continue left on Route 129A towards Swampscott.

129A turns into Chestnut Street. Continue on Chestnut Street for approximately 1.5 miles until it intersects with Essex Street. Turn left onto Essex Street. Take your first left onto Fayette Street. Take your first right onto Fayette Court.

The Ingalls School will be directly in front of you. Turn left and then right to get to the driveway and the field. Proceed beyond the “Do Not Enter” sign to park in the back parking lot.

By Car from Points North/East – Route 1A South:

Turn Right onto Lafayette Street from Route 1A/Lewis Street. Follow the road to the right, around Goldfish Pond and past the fire station (on the right).

Proceed across Essex Street. Take your first right onto Fayette Court.

The Ingalls School will be directly in front of you. Turn left and then right to get to the driveway and the field. Proceed beyond the “Do Not Enter” sign to park in the back parking lot.

By Car from Points North/East – Route 128 South:

From 128 South take exit 28 (Centennial Drive) towards Peabody. Continue through the traffic light and turn right onto Summit Street.

Continue until Summit Street ends. Turn right onto Lynn Street. Continue on Lynn Street for approximately 2 miles.

Turn left onto Route 129 towards Swampscott. At the fork in the road, stay left to continue on Route 129A. Route 129A becomes Chestnut Street. Continue on Chestnut for 1.5 miles.

Turn left onto Essex Street. Take your first left onto Fayette Street. Turn right onto Fayette Court. The Ingalls School will be directly in front of you.

Lynn Central Square Farmers' Market

By Car from 128 South:

Take exit 28 towards Centennial Drive. Follow Centennial Drive to the end. Turn right onto Summit. Follow Summit to the end and turn right onto Lynn Street.

Continue on Lynn Street for approximately 2 miles through Peabody. This road turns into Broadway once you cross into Lynn.

By Car from 128 North:
