The Food Project’s Corporate Serve & Grow Program offers companies a service-learning opportunity to grow food for hunger relief organizations and local distribution. Bring your employees to one of our farms for a morning of positive, energizing work and learning at The Food Project. We offer volunteer opportunities in the Spring and Fall.

By participating in our service-learning program, your company benefits in many ways. Participating in Serve & Grow:

  • Increases the impact of your company’s overall philanthropic efforts.
  • Visibly affirms your company’s support for the Greater Boston community.
  • Fosters trust, collaboration, and respect for diversity.
  • Provides a refreshing environment that brings out new skills and creative thinking that employees can apply back at the office.

Please review our frequently asked questions about volunteering with The Food Project.

To cover the costs of staffing the volunteer program and distributing the produce that your group will help plant, care for, and harvest, we ask for a contribution of $500. Please be in touch if such a contribution is prohibitive to your group participating in Serve & Grow.

Our farms have been winterized for the season. Thanks to all who volunteered this season. Please note: We are not currently accepting volunteers on our farms. Our spring volunteer session runs April to June. We will begin scheduling volunteers in the early part of 2017.
