Growing Together: A Guide to Building Inspired, Diverse and Productive Youth Communities ($24.95)

Growing Together
Growing Together
Growing Together is the result of a decade of The Food Project's success working with youth from diverse backgrounds and bridging urban and suburban communities through work on the land. Written in a clear, engaging style, Growing Together is an indispensable resource for youth coordinators, teachers, religious leaders, trainers and community members who want an easily transferable and adaptable approach to creating dynamic, diverse and productive communities.

Specific techniques and strategies described in Growing Together evolved from our use of Teen Empowerment materials developed by Stanley Pollack, who has done pioneering work on program development and design of behavior management systems for youth throughout the Boston area. For more information on Teen Empowerment, visit their website at www.teenempowerment.org.
