How does the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. inspire you?

For the week leading up to Martin Luther King Day 2017 (Jan 16), we asked staff and young people at The Food Project to share words of the civil rights leader that resonate with each of us across the organization. Each day for seven days, we posted to social media those quotes and the ways that Dr. King’s words motivate us in our lives and our work. Martin Luther King Jr. was a man who gave his life to close the racial divides of this nation and work towards justice. We as an organization honor his legacy and commitment to racial and economic justice, and the legacy of his colleagues of the Civil Rights Movement in our day-to-day non-violent work for food justice.
